Keep in mind too that you can only run 255 plugins in Fallout 4, I have had to repackage several mods into single plugins over the years since the game launched as hitting the 255 limit happens faster than you'd think, especially if you get into visual mods. Making all the mods work together takes a lot of time a patience, some mods outright break others but those issues are usually listed in each mod's page. Pick out the stuff you like, sort out which mod manager you want to run with (Vortex, Mod Organizer, etc) and get to work. Go to Nexusmods and browse what they have. You really need to just look through what's available and plan out what you want to build. What I change or make alterations to you may not be interested in. Modding is a very personal thing and a hobby in itself. I could make you a list of mods that I like but in the end it's a waste of time. I have well over 1000 hours into this game just modding shit. ![]() They even have a mod to use the old VATS system vs the current.Ĭheck out this persons channel as they still cover lots of the newer mods.įallout 4 took me a bit to get into, but I like it just the same as the other Fallout titles, put over 200 hours into it and the mods help a whole lot. well allows you to take cover like in Gears Of War, Mass Effect etc (sorta a look thing as it does involve setting) More children, does exactly that.adds more children lol (Lots of mods for adding more people and different races, factions etc)Ĭore gameplay stuff like Better Settlers make them actually smarter and do more complex things Regrowth or any vegetation mod really as it adds more to the world ![]() If you're going to download and install any ENB, try Overgrowth.Don't mind them (they need to be reported btw as I get not liking a game, but this attacking gamers cause they like a game you don't needs to be addressed)ĭownload the unofficial patch, its a patch that the community made that corrects what many of us feel are the worst bugs and issues.ĭecay - makes the game much more darker and looks like Fallout 3 in terms of color temp It definitely beats the graphical enhancements of Nevada ENB, and most other ENB's. I have tried countless other mods but I must say, Overgrowth exceeds the majority in quality. Overgrowth has always been pleasing to the eye, it definitely improved the graphics by milestones, wasn't too bright, wasn't too dark, and worked wonders alongside Wasteland Flora Overhaul. Someone please lecture me on Nuclear Fission etc. I always assumed that the Nuclear War caused the skies to be bright and white, and it was just global warming etc. I would love to use Blackout but the installation is a bit weird for me, if anyone knows how to install it please tell me.ĮDIT: Somehow I got Overgrowth to work with FCO AND Wasteland Flora Overhaul, so I'm happy to have reverted back to Overgrowth! It maintains an excellent level of brightness, whereas Jay's is way too bright, still pretty great, but it has always been too bright for my taste, and thus has kinda ruined the immersion. ![]() However, I also use FCO, and it seems Overrowth is incompatible with it, because there are missing meshes. Of all, I think that Overgrowth has been the best one (I love the nature aspect). Since I started modding, I used Overgrowth, Nevada 2K17, Dynamo, Jay's ENB, Rudy's (for a bit), 47 ENB 2, Midhrastic, Chromatic Melancholy, and others. » Anyone willing to make sure my mod wont break things? » Who Would Win: Ulysses or Joshua Graham? ![]() » HALLOWEEN MOD THE INNSMOUTHS CITIZENS FALLOUT 4 » Tammy's Introduction (Making a PA port) » Suggestions for a Halo Themed TTW Playthrough » Weird facial problem when using Dragbody overhaul
